20+ years experience in global manufacturing operations, logistics, financial markets, real estate, management, customer service, marketing, advertising, and more.
I have known Ron Diskin for many years, since his stay in Israel. He was invited to our home for Saturday evening dinners, like one of the family. We held many talks on various topics, like the meaning of teamwork, values, studies, social and personal behavior, the future world professions, behavior in stress situations, the world economy situation, etc. I have found Ron to be a very intelligent young man, with strong integrity, ready to apply and learn new issues, ready to work, willing to achieve targets. He will be eager to learn any job that will suit his abilities. I believe in this young man.
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Ron Diskin as he is applying for the Harvard Program for Leadership Development, and I cannot think of a more suited candidate than Ron. I have met and known Ron since 2003 when I was posted in Los Angeles as Consul General of the Czech Republic. His hunger for knowledge, integrity, and very early and successful experience in business and leadership is something I have always been impressed by. I wish him all the best, always. Your prestigious institution will be thrilled to have him join you, I am sure.
I meet with Ron Diskin at my office and in my home consistently for years already. Our talks are intellectually stimulating because of his vast knowledge of history, finance, technology, culture, and many other topics. The diversity and depth of his knowledge is extraordinary. He has superior work ethic, intelligence, passion, respect, integrity, and values. He is a loyal friend. Any academic, financial, technical, military, or other institution will be lucky to have him. He will never let you down, and he will overcome any obstacle to fulfill his duties, dedications, and promises.
I met Ron Diskin in our Harvard Business School cohort, and he stood out immediately in his genuine understanding of how all the pieces in an ecosystem fit together. He’s no-nonsense, deeply informed, and consistently brings fresh, strategic perspectives to complex problems. Ron has the courage to make tough calls, and the clarity to communicate with honesty and conviction. He’s a straight shooter with strong strategic vision and the work ethic to execute, and go the distance.
It is my pleasure and privilege to recommend Ron Diskin to Harvard Business School Executive MBA - Program for Leadership Development. I know Ron Diskin and his family for decades therefore I am confident that he will be a devoted and inspiring student.

Born in New York City to a family of Holocaust survivors, Ron Diskin is a proud Zionist whose formative years reflect deep commitment and discipline. After graduating from Beverly Hills High School, he volunteered for the Israel Defense Forces, training and serving in an elite combat unit, then was sent to IDF Foreign Relations by special recommendation from his commanding officers. His service concluded with “high honors” and letters of commendation from two IDF generals.
Following his military service, Ron built a global career as a self-taught entrepreneur and later earned an Executive MBA at Harvard Business School. As an active investor, he has collaborated directly with CEOs, CFOs, and COOs of emerging companies in diverse industries, helping them challenge conventions and drive growth.
Ron’s professional life is diverse and versatile, with a focus on mastering unconventional strategies to achieve ambitious targets. His greatest pride is his family—his wife and three children. Outside of business, he is passionate about philanthropy, travel, martial arts, philosophy, poetry, coffee, and gelato.
